It is a truth universally acknowledged that HTH SCI 2F03/2FF3 is one of the most difficult courses in the BHSc program, in large part due to the sheer volume of content presented. The current COVID-19 pandemic has also made holding in-person labs impossible, causing BHSc students to suffer existential crises, as noted on many Reddit threads and Spotted at Mac posts wherein Health scis have been ranting about how jank the Bassett collection is. Non-Health sci students have also been commenting on this issue; Life sci student Bittyr Lee Rye-Jectid recently said “Finally! You health scis aren’t special anymore!”
Now, the Anatomy Department has decided to spice up the Bassett collection with some new photos taken from OnlyFans. Anatomy professor Sangela Cott released an announcement at midnight, “We’ve been hearing some troubling reports that our use of the Bassett collection has not been effective. Starting next term, we’ve decided to combine the Bassett collection with the popular anatomy website OnlyFans. Through randomization, we’ve sampled some of the most popular pictures on OnlyFans to use. We hope that OnlyFans images will help students gain a better understanding, particularly during the reproductive system unit.”
Current anatomy students were divided on this change; some felt that the inclusion of OnlyFans pictures would make labs more difficult due to many submissions using creative angles and lighting. Others believed that this announcement would not change the labs whatsoever since it was still just showing pictures. While this announcement was met with mixed feelings at first, chaos quickly ensued amongst anatomy students after Dr. Cott issued a follow up statement. Due to the abysmal results from the first midterm and the overwhelming number of offers from students to perform ‘The MDCL Bridge’ position with the professors in exchange for bonus marks (see Issue 11 for a detailed tutorial), anatomy students who are 18 or above can earn extra credit by submitting their own OnlyFans entries to be used in labs. Three minutes after this statement was released, the McMaster Campus Store ran out of webcams.
Okay, but in all seriousness, sex work is work and should be decriminalized. And coercion isn’t consent.
