In a recent study conducted on the student population at McMaster, results show that since the start of the COVID-19, the conversational skills of students have been on a steady decline. Furthermore, due to the online format, student relationships are suffering and overall happiness has reached a new low. This is where the McMasturdebator comes in.
In response to the numerous complaints of students being rejected from the Model UN team, the Ethics Club, and the BHSS, McMaster has launched a new incentive to boost their student’s charisma and happiness, whilst honing their debate skills, all at the same time. They have coined this new concept as “mcmasturdebating”.
In the McMasturdebator, students will have the opportunity to attend live seminars every month, where industry professionals will come in and demonstrate their unique forms of mcmasturdebating. If you are worried about your lack of experience, do not fret, as the McMasturdebator will also recruit experienced upper year students who will be there to guide you on your journey. Remember, practice makes perfect! So the McMasturdebator recommends practicing your mcmasturdebating skills whenever you get the chance and in a mirror if possible. Just remember to stay consistent!
