Once you do get your food though, dig in. You might even be lucky enough to get a full jungle experience: you can enjoy the many plants and get some free protein along with your meal 🦗! Just make sure to avoid the cushion seats when you’re sitting down, unless you want a complimentary glute massage from some leftover food crumbs.

Centrally located, the student centre is just that – a student centre. Get ready to push through some dense crowds while you and your soon-to-be S.O. try to order your food. Oh, and good luck finding a seat! Instead, you might opt to have a coffee date from Starbucks, only to look at your watch and discover you’ve been waiting in line for a whole med terms lecture.

Sometimes, you just want to get far away from MDCL and HSC… we don’t blame you! In that case, Thode’s suite of premier basement study rooms is the perfect venue for that intimate date you’ve been craving. A small and cozy room – ideal for leaning in for your first kiss and making the first bold moves. That is, until someone shows up at the door and says they have the room booked.
- Bistro – For those on-the-go.
Bistro strives to offer the best crammed dining experience you’ve ever had. Here, you and your partner can enjoy a calming date while eavesdropping on the group next to you (who is certainly sitting way too close to you) complaining about their first NOCAT. And don’t count on having a post-dinner conversation, either – you’ll get kicked out as soon as the last bite enters your mouth. But that’s a plus anyways, the date was getting awkward.
