1. List areas where your group has been successful in terms of group interactions and knowledge acquisition
Group members provided empirical evidence against natural selection, particularly the degeneration of the pre-frontal cortex. I also have full confidence that members did not use ChatGPT to write their supplemental essays, as leaving “Regenerate New Response” at the top of their “research findings” would have surely raised some eyebrows.
2. List areas where your group needs improvement
Our group writes like they were taught English by someone who didn’t apply to UBC. The fact that two members passed ENG4U further questions the integrity of the Ontario education system. Impressively, our reflective summary surpasses the guest speakers’ abilities to produce thousands of words that convey no semantic meaning.
3. What tensions or struggles did your group experience?
Several members failed to respond to multiple messages regarding impending deadlines, despite the fact that they were posting homecoming photos on Instagram. The single member who did show up to tutorial on the due date was hung over, called our TA “Miller”, and had their car towed halfway through class (because they parked it on the BSB lawn).
4. How has your group addressed (or is addressing) the above?
I have obtained the residence halls and room numbers of group members and will be sending packages to their doorsteps in the coming weeks that reflect the nature of their contributions.
